1) What made you decide to open Staśia Boutique?
At a very young age I designed and sewed for my dolls, then for myself. I continue to sew for Cera who embraces and appreciates my talents and creativity. This is my passion and my dream is to continue to sew and create one-of-a-kind items for the store – a goal yet to come.
2) Do you take formal wear?
As you know the store is small and packed up pretty good. Although, we’d love to help you sell your great formal dress we just don’t have the room. There is a wonderful organization in Saskatoon which offers opportunity for graduating girls who cannot afford a dress you may consider to donate to. Please contact them at info@theprincessshop.ca or visit them online: The Princess Shop
3) Where are you located?
Glad you asked. We’re in the heart of Sutherland right on Central Avenue nestled between Rayner Agencies and Downey’s Bakery. Our address is 1002a Central Avenue. Check out our web site button ‘The 411’ for a closer look.
4) What is the split.
The consigment is a 50/50 split. We keep your clothes on the floor for 3 months, if not sold after 2 months we reduce the price, if not sold after 3 it’s donated to charity. Please be assured we do our very best to sell your items that are always floor worthy such as high end jeans (7s, Diesel, Citizens, etc.) …. We don’t give up on those.
5) Can I get my clothes back if they don’t sell?
Yes you can. But you’ll have to come in and pull them off the floor yourself. It doesn’t make good business sense for me to choose, tag, hang, and then return these items to you if they don’t sell. I’d rather be spending my time developing marketing ideas to sell them for you.
